This session presents an overview of the remote tools available to faculty and staff, how to get immediate assistance for some of the most common issues encountered by end users, and how to use the helpdesk to find information about the issue you are encountering, submit tickets, and manage your tickets. Microsoft Teams – Basic Navigation and Use Learn to use Microsoft’s collaboration software, Microsoft Teams. The session will cover basic navigation of the software, creating new teams, how to post and add tabs within a team, how to add channels, record live sessions, make calls, Canvas integration, and much more. See new features including the use of custom backgrounds, meeting options, use of the search bar, and a sneak peek into features that are coming soon. Advanced Microsoft Teams This training session will focus on features not discussed in the Basic Navigation and Use class. Topics include expanded use of commands in the search bar, Team owner privileges, third party app connections, and meeting options to make meetings with non-TROY users go more smoothly.
